The robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions company Gideon Brothers raised a $31 million USD Series A investment to accelerate the development and commercialization of its AI&3D vision-based autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
The Series A round was led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), the venture and growth arm of Koch Industries, Inc.. Gideon Brothers will expand its Board of Directors with two seasoned industry leaders: Annant Patel, Director, KDT, and Xavier Garijo, Member of the Board of Management for Contract Logistics, DB Schenker.

Looking back in time, DB Schenker already has a long history with Gideon Brothers. Back in 2018 Gideon Brothers took part in their international logistics start-up pitch or one year later, when DB Schenker tested three AGVs from Gideon Brothers in the warehouse in Leipzig Germany:
